We are looking for a Junior Backend Engineer eager to build web APIs and backend services using PHP and Laravel. Tech stack: PHP, Laravel, MySQL, REST APIs, Git, Docker, Composer What you will work on: - Build and maintain backend web API endpoints using PHP 8 and the Laravel framework. - Design database migration scripts and write basic SQL queries using Eloquent ORM and MySQL. - Write automated unit tests (PHPUnit) and participate in peer code reviews. - Troubleshoot software bugs and assist in maintaining project technical documentation. What we are looking for: - Solid understanding of web backend development, OOP principles, HTTP protocols, and relational databases. - Practical experience with PHP and Laravel framework from coursework, projects, or internships. - Eagerness to learn clean architectural practices and receive constructive senior code reviews.
